What is a Compression Garment?

Unlike ordinary shapewear or body-shaping clothing, medical compression garments are designed with surgical recovery in mind.

Why Are Compression Garments Used After Surgery?
After surgery, the body naturally goes through a healing process. Swelling and changes in tissue are common during recovery.
For some procedures, surgeons recommend compression garments as part of post-operative care.
Compression may provide support to the treated area while the tissues heal.
However, compression garments do not replace medical follow-up or the instructions of your surgeon.
